Sustainable Spring Fashion
Hi all! It's Kate, back again with some more slow-fashion/ethical/sustainable clothing brands to check out.
Lacausa Clothing is primarily produced in Los Angeles, and when working with overseas factories they maintain that they provide fair, livable wages, and healthy, humane working conditions to all employees. Core principles of the brand include global citizenship, low waste design, ethical manufacturing, and a donation program that contributes to a wide variety of causes such as the Garment Worker Center, Black Lives Matter, and the LA Food Bank.
While much of their regular clothing line is made with unsustainable materials, they have collections for their clothing made from organic or recycled materials. Lacausa also has an activewear line with leggings, tops, shorts, and unitards made from an organic cotton blend or recycled polyester.
