Kirsten's January Favorites

Hello there! Today I'm sharing some things I've been loving that are helping me get through these crazy times. Let's jump in!

Lady Moon

Lady Moon is an incredibly talented musician I found through her instagram, and I've become a super fan! She plays guitar and mandolin and sings like an angel, my husband and I have been watching her weekly live streams on instagram and YouTube. She's working on recording her first album and I can't wait to hear it! You can find her on instagram and YouTube

Final Girl Finds

Final Girl Finds is an instagram based thrift shop selling lovingly curated vintage and kitsch items. I bought this beautiful vintage Pyrex piece from her and I'm so happy with it! Her stuff sells fast so be sure to stay on top of her shop updates! You can find her on instagram

Piranesi by Susanna Clarke

Next up is my first read of 2021; Piranesi by Susanna Clarke. This is one of those books that's better to go into not knowing much about the plot, but I cannot recommend it highly enough! If you love fantasy, or really just page turning fiction at all, you've got to read this!

Daisy Granny Square Pattern

I've been crocheting A LOT this last year and this blanket I made using the daisy granny square pattern I found on Pinterest might just be my favorite thing I've made yet! It's super easy and fun to make, and you can really turn granny squares into anything! I added a border around each one, stitched them together, and added a white border around the whole thing to create this beautiful baby blanket! I even ordered more yarn to make a bigger version in pink! I cannot get enough of these adorable daisies! You can find the pattern here

Houseplants

I don't know about you, but I am so ready for Spring, and I've been trying to bring the spring vibes into my home by going a little bit overboard with houseplants! Buying new ones, propagating old ones, I've been filling every space I can with plants (as long as they're out of reach of my mischievous kittens!) This beautiful African violet is one of my recent purchases, it brings so much cheerfulness to the room! I'll definitely be writing a post all about houseplants in the near future!

Let us know what you've been loving this month in the comments!
